U.S. Army, KU, and LNESC Planning for College Workshop. Saturday LNESC
student will visit the KU campus and learn about college opportunities.
LNESC KC is a proud partner with three key organizations: Kauffman
Scholars, Inc, the U.S. Army, and the McDonald’s Corporation to provide
college access and preparatory programs. Workshops in which FREE food
and drinks are provided are conducted twice a month at our center.

Selecting the college you will attend is a very important
decision. Starting below and continuing on following pages are tips to
help you choose the right college that suits your needs. Research
several schools so you will have more options from which to choose.
Shoot High
When searching for the right college, it is important to add several
types. Pick some with guaranteed admissions, some where admissions may
be possible, no guarantees; then a few schools you always dreamed to
attend. Remember, you never know until you try. Give yourself lots of
options.
